I cant believe the twins are seven years old today looking back at photos today of the last seven years it’s hard to believe that they are the same little girls who seven years ago were in incubators going through withdrawals and could fit in my hand. 3ib 6oz and 3ib 9oz they were so tiny. I can still see it in my head like it was yesterday walking into the SCABU at North Devon District Hospital and seeing them with all the tubes coming out of them and the monitors going I just started crying little did I know at that point it was because K couldn’t stop drinking while being pregnant. You know one thing that keeps going through my mind at the minute when we are being called up to the school on a near daily basis because Georgia has had a melt down is would K have stopped drinking if she knew the effect it was going to have on the girls for the rest of their lives. The sad truth is I don’t think she would have really cared given that she was given the option to stop drinking and doing cocaine to have more access to the twins and she didn’t even stop a little bit.

I honestly don’t know what the future holds for the twins Georgia is struggling so much at school and in on the verge of being kicked out but there are no places available in a special provision school for her. Dakota is doing ok there but it is very hard for her, and I made the mistake of asking for help from the family that have told me over and over that me and tammy are not in this alone and they are always here to help, I just got told that I have changed because I asked for help. All the court battles for access and all the shit I have been given over the years and now it turns out that phones only work one way and my phone still hasn’t rang even on their birthday. But as long as they know I love them and the other girls to the moon and back at the end of the day that is all that matters.
